Course codes LD-0217-M
This compact course is designed to introduce you to the art of drawing from the live model and sculptures.
Life drawing is a challenging but ultimately rewarding discipline and is presented on this compact course in a clear and concise way.
Balance, rhythm and proportion are just some of the topics covered.
You will be shown how to give the figure dimensionality by using shading and how to tackle the problems of foreshortening.
We will be using basic drawing materials on this course. You don't have to bring any of your own materials. Grey and blue sugar paper, charcoal and conté crayon are supplied.
Those who wish to go on and further their skills can come to the pay-as-you-go classes on Thursday evenings and all-day Sunday sessions.
The cost of a professional model is included in the price.
Each student will be given a resource folder to keep at the end of the course.
